About Keltic Mechanical & Electrical Specialists
Keltic Mechanical & Electrical Specialists is a partnership setup in 2006 by Stephen Power and John Michael Heffernan.
Keltic Mechanical & Electrical Specialists is a Kerry-based contracting company serving homes and businesses across Munster — including Kerry, Cork, and Limerick. With over 20 years of combined experience, our team of qualified mechanical and electrical engineers delivers reliable, high-quality workmanship on every project.
We work across domestic and commercial applications, from heating and plumbing installations to full electrical fit-outs and renewable energy systems. Every job is approached with the same level of care and attention to detail, regardless of size.
Renewable energy is a core area of expertise for us — including the supply and installation of air source heat pumps, solar thermal, photovoltaic panels, and underfloor heating systems. We use only top-quality materials sourced from trusted suppliers throughout Europe.

Experience
Our team gained their experience firstly by working on numerous projects across the Munster region on domestic and non-domestic applications, building a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical contracting across a wide range of property types.
Renewable Energy Technologies is also a core area in which Keltic has gained a substantial amount of experience. This includes the supply and installation of both air source heat pumps and geothermal heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation, solar thermal, photovoltaic panels, thermodynamic solar and underfloor heating. All materials are from top quality brands sourced throughout Europe.

Safe Electric Ireland Registered
All electrical works are carried out by Safe Electric registered contractors in compliance with ETCI wiring regulations.
RGII Registered Gas Installer
Fully registered with the Register of Gas Installers of Ireland (RGII) for safe gas installation and servicing.
SEAI Approved Contractor
Approved by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, enabling clients to access government energy grants.
Fully Insured & Compliant
Comprehensive public and employer liability insurance held, with all works carried out to Irish building regulations.
Cork Institute of Technology — FETAC Level 6
We have received FETAC level 6 qualifications in Plumbing Technology from the Cork Institute of Technology. We have also obtained FETAC level 6 qualifications for heatpumps, solar and oftec oil 101/105e.
HBZ Münster — Renewable Energy Technologies
Recently completed a course studying the latest advancements in Renewable Energy Technologies at HBZ Münster located in Germany.
